Viva Italia is the Agenne GiftSuite demo store. Within this store, you will find examples of many of the features of Agenne GifSuite. Some of the exceptional features that you should pay special attention to include:
Smart Search
Agenne GiftSuite's advanced Smart Search system provides an intuitive and powerful search facility that will help you sell more. The search field is displayed in the upper right corner of each catalog page or can be included anywhere in the customizable areas of your web store such as the custom header, left side column, right side column, or footer.
Type-Ahead
Smart Search includes features such as Type-Ahead which guesses which search term your customer is typing and fills in the rest of the search field for them automatically as they type characters. This does not limit what your customers can type in any way, but it does help speed their shopping along as well as helping to prevent typing mistakes by showing correct spelling of even your most difficult-to-spell product and category names.
Auto-Suggest
The Smart Search Auto-Suggest feature provides a list of suggestions based upon what your customer has typed into the search field. As the shopper continues to type characters into the search field, the list of suggestions continues to update, narrowing the list of suggestions at each keystroke. Auto-Suggest does not limit what your customers can enter into the search field, but will continue to offer suggestions as they type.
Custom Templates
The GiftSuite system is based upon dynamic, database-driven pages. Each of these pages are built from a collection of what we call "Building Blocks". Each building block is composed of one or more custom templates which give you complete design flexibility. Note that our custom templates are complex and dynamically generated so Agenne builds your custom templates based upon your design. This allows you to have an extremely powerful catalog, cart, and registry system designed the way you want. Some custom templates do incur a nominal design fee. Custom templates have been employed throughout the Viva Italia demo store.
Cascading Style Sheet Design Elements
Using Cascading Style Sheets, you have full control over text colors, fonts, buttons, and almost every other element of your catalog, cart, and registry pages.
Custom HTML Header and Footer
At the top of every page throughout the system is your custom HTML header page. You can place anything within this area of the page that you wish including site navigation, the Smart Search box, your company logo, links, and information. At the bottom is a similar area called the Footer. Like the header, you may put anything you wish into this area.
